How It Works
A Team of Young Global Citizens and their Project Mentor(s) complete a Project Summary Application.
Young Global Citizens may be students in a classroom, members in a club at school, or members in a social service organization, faith-based organization or associated with other organizations working together to affect positive change in their community.
Project Mentors may be classroom teachers, school administrators, service learning coordinators, or members of community or faith-based organizations. Mentors guide the team throughout the process. If the project receives a micro-grant from the Foundation the Mentor assists the team in managing the funds and delivering the resources to the team through a Partner Organization.
Partner organizations are approved 501)c)(3) nonprofit organizations and corporations under U.S. tax laws.
Once the Project Summary Application is completed, a Team Member must Create An Account in order to upload the application to the Foundation for consideration. The Foundation will review the Team's application, contact you if additional information is required, and notify you if your Social Action Project has been approved or not approved.
Global Micro-Grants Criteria
